lol I was wondering why it was so close to .500 given Clemson has dominated SC over the decades.
conversely, take So Carolina out and Clemson is 18-20-1 against the SEC since 1980
which is a better number to use for this thread
or, to put it another way, from 1980 - present (Clemson's "glory years"), the Taters have a LOSING record against the original SEC

IF Watson lives up to his potential in the NFL, you could see him basically serve as Clemson's type of Michael Jordan recruiting angle.
Yes. The greatest player in the history of professional basketball. An above-average professional QB. The comparison just jumps right out at you.

Yall can keep posting your interesting tidbits about Clemson vs the SEC on this message board... It just brings back a lot of good memories for me personally...
I don't know what you hope to gain from making thread after thread about Clemson... but I am happy to be the voice of reason.

Their last win over LSU should have never happened and if les and chavis don’t choke that game away then the run they have been on never exist

yep and beat a great team to accomplish it, but the semis counted last year and without Watson, Clemson couldn't even find the endzone. In fact, Bama's defense accounted for more points than Clemson's offense.

Clemson has an overall losing record against 12 of the original 13 SEC
So, there's long term hope for schools like State and Ole Miss.

1980 on. Which matches up with it becoming a traditional university after being a Citadel type military college.
