That is what is like being number 1. Just means your team is good bro. Enjoy it, it does not last forever.

Too bad UNC-Harrisburg is going to be a tougher opponent this weekend than GT.

Many SEC team fans including Alabama fans seem bitter about their team being in the SEC and Clemson being in the ACC.

It would be pretty weird for Clemson fans to want to move over to that.

why would SEC fans want to take on another good program if you believe the conference is already stacked.

i assume it is b/c you want a monopoly on the playoff spots.

I've never heard any Clemson fan complain about the basketball team being in the ACC or beat up on conferences with less traditionally competitive programs in basketball.

where are all these SEC people feeling sorry for Clemson's plight in basketball.

I’ll admit Clemson has more in common with SEC than ACC when it comes to culture and sports - particularly in football. Given the decline in ACC football over the past two seasons the chasm is growing. As a die hard college football fan I’d be down with moving to SEC land...seems
the SEC East could use some help right now.

Congrats on never winning another title again. Not sure why anyone would want to make the path even harder than it already is. I wish we'd go back to 12.

you don't even need to say that given how much you brown nose the SEC teams.

It warms my heart to know that you care enough about me to notice...Even if you’re 180 degrees out on your comment.

You were talking down to me prior to the title game when I expressed confidence in chances to beat Alabama.

Maybe many of the fans but not Dabo, ACC is an easier path to the playoffs, Bobby Bowden in his prime at FSU back when they were still independent, admitted that he didn't want to play a SEC schedule and his exact words "week in and week out, man that's just too tough". FSU turned down the SEC before there was even a vote.(not sure UF would have let them join anyway). The first choice of SEC team was not Arkansas nor SCar. The first offers were to Texas and FSU. Both of whom turned down the SEC. And who can blame them at time? Same with Clemson now.

how has the SEC been a tough path if Alabama rarely loses in it.

Alabama won 8 games in a row against LSU who a lot people would say is the 2nd best program in the SEC. 12 in a row against Tenn.

SEC hires a lot of meathead coaches who have no clue what to do on offense.

The fans would love the prestige, big time games in huge stadiums and the $ that comes with being in the SEC. It will never happen because the powers that be at Clemson don’t want to play an SEC schedule. The Dukes, Wakes and GTs are the foundation they build their win/loss record on. Can’t see them ever making the playoffs if they had an SEC schedule week after week. Their coaches know it and so we
