My statement was that conference size DOES NOT matter. The ACC wins championships just fine being substantially smaller than the SEC.
They're probably 200,000 students (wild guess) smaller than the B1G; what does that prove? That smaller conferences can still win, right?
This dumbass argument wasn't even my doing - I just pointed out that you tried to pick the largest schools in the ACC and say there's no difference. I think you have me confused with whoever started the conference size argument.

Clemson fans pretend that their team's ACC wins have some sort of significance. Those games only have meaning if Clemson looses.

FYI Tech AKA the North Avenue Trade School is one third foreign students, one third Yankees and one third nerds and geeks from the south. No one who has a social life wants any part of that place

Unfortunately because of the requirements and controlled enrollment many do not make it much to the consternation of their families - many who are long time pedigreed Dawgs who donate a ton of $ to UGA. The SEC East schools won't let them in. Clemson should just beef up their non-conference schedule by scheduling more home and homes with SEC schools like Auburn and Georgia. Approach a school like Florida as well for a home and home.

Clemson and LSU have agreed to a home-and-home series for 2025 and 2026.
We kickoff against UGA in 2024 and a home an home in 2029 and 2030
We have to play Notre Dame about every 4-5 years...
We play as many SEC teams as we need to get the national cred...

South Carolina figured out that meant just North Carolina and left (as did Maryland) but Taters were too slow and thought they were cool with the North Carolina Four. Put a basketball coach on the realignment committee and Clemson just let it happen.

Your cred is built on the likes of GT, Duke and the rest of the ladies of the ACC. Throw in a few rented cupcakes and your win/loss looks pretty impressive unless one considers the sources of all these wins
