Clemson Booster: Our freshman QB is already the best in the nation

That's the latest gem on my TDY to Greenville. This guy has his own plane; has a corporate suite, etc. Probably makes a few million a year and spends 1.5X that much. He swears to anyone who will listen that Trevor Lawrence, a true freshman, is better than any other college QB, right now.

He looked pretty good when we played them last year...Fields looked better IMO.

In all seriousness, it wouldn't surprise me if Trevor Lawrence is the real deal. I don't know if he's the best in the nation, but he might be pretty damn good this year.

Yes, because I'm still in Greenville. I've been enjoying my evenings talking football with the locals. Last night I went to a German beer garden here and had a great deal of fun talking football with several locals (though most in there only cared about soccer.) But the Clemson guy would not shut up! He was worse than an Auburn fan. He also said their gameday is better than any SEC venue...haha. I let him keep going as he waxed poetic about Dabo, etc.
Funny.
I leave Friday. When I get back home, I'll refocus on the National Champs.

By that logic, Kellen Mond caused 2 5* QBs to transfer from Aggy.
