Iy happens. We've been known to lose a few games we should win, too. Hopefully we have gotten that behind us, though.

That's the strange thing about it. For some reason some guys think they are much better than their record indicates and think everybody is going to roll over for the,

It hurts when your favorite team loses.....especially to a team you should easily beat. But every team does it......every team.

So what does Techwood homes have to do with that area now?So don't you think the 1K a month price tab drives out the riff raff to other parts of metro Atlanta like Clayton County?

Look at the price of homes in Midtown over to West Midtown...some of the most expensive real estate in metro Atlanta.

Auburn? None of us (Georgia fans) truly believe we were as bad as we looked. I was crushed and didn't want to come in here. I had to force myself to come in here and congratulate Auburn on their win.

You're right, it would be. Especially since UGA won the last time they were at Mark Richt Field at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

There's only 10 points separating y'all from losing 15 straight to the Dawgs, and 25 points away from losing 26 in row.

No. people who want to live there...live there. And yes, a lot of the old Techwood people DID go down to Clayton Co. But I am in Henry County.

Not in the Tech area. Look at the difference in monthly rates of Apartments in the Tech area compared to mid town and some of the others.
Crap. 1K a month is not that bad these days.

Duke? You really want to compare the 2 losses?
A top 10 team at home vs a 6 loss team?

Just didn't want to face the harassment from them. They weren't too bad, though. Most were pretty good. I think it just bothered me the way we lost and it being the first loss of the year. But, going into the year I thought we were a 10 win team(counting the bowl game), and we will be at least that and maybe better.

That's a good point, I forgot about the MCL injury.

Yeah, he's out for blood.

It was the way we lost. So, yes. I would compare GT's loss to Duke to our domination from Auburn.

Don't get me wrong...I could see ways in which the game was not as bad as it seemed. But, I could also see ways to argue it was worse.

What? Are you freakin kidding me?First of all GT IS in the midtown area and does the price of homes automatically decrease in value because they're near GT?

Hell,go look at the price of some of those dumpy homes
off Atlantic and Hemphill and get back to me.You can go even further west to Howell Mill and Collier Road areas
A have friends that do nothing more than speculate in real estate in the area and have done very well.

Uh. Yes. there are a lot of things that affect the price of homes. No problem. I really don't care that much one way or the other. If you want to live near GT go ahead. I don't.

90% of this forum couldn’t afford to live in Midtown Atlanta or the surrounding neighborhoods especially on the Eastside.

My inlaws live in a house off Myrtle. FIL rides bike to work at GT. It's about 1600 sq ft, they paid $600k. It would sell for about $750k today.

Yes, but they're no longer there for a reason.

Atlanta is quickly becoming unaffordable for most people. The ghetto is being pushed out into the suburbs at a quick pace. Hoodrats target that area, even though they don't live in it, because they know that unarmed nerds are walking around with expensive electronics.

Don't believe me? Go walk around in the neighborhood at night sometime.

I lived in the neighborhood for several years and walked around at night.
