The worst part of this thread is the implication that LF is even the 2nd best RB in the league. Right now, he sits about 4th or 5th.

Florida had the number 5 total defense and LF had 143 yards and 2tds so your ranked team argument is stupid.
LF was 27 for 140...5.2ypc
Chubb went 21 for 156... 7.4ypc

Yet, you can't stop thinking about him. He wouldn't give Bama the time of day, and you'll never get over it.

Haven't checked in since the first couple of pages. Have we quelled today's Fournette lil-brofest or do I need to enter the fray?

I feel like a LF vs Hurd vs Michel thread would be more appropriate. Chubb is clearly the better back at this point. LSU fans just need to wait for that potential to kick in before comparing him to Chubb.

I don't disagree with this. As of now, Chubb has been much more productive.

And they have all played meaningful snaps, gained meaningful yards, and scored meaningful TDs.

They are just lucky that JJ transferred.

I didn't even mention Tae Crowder.

Dammit. Looks like I missed the weekly Chubb vs. Fournette pissing match.
I'm gonna set the O/U on offseason Chubb v. LF threads at 30

Chubb's a great back. So is Fournette. He got a chance and he showed out (Chubb). Fournette never quite got the alpha dog carries many of us wanted him to get here in TigerTown.
He did get some totes against UF, but against OM Tay Tay Magee and Hilliard (insert :GTFOthrowingOleMissLBlikeRagdoll: here) toted the mail significantly (Magee throughout the game and Hilliard late). Fournette was knicked a bit against Arkansas, and we all saw he only got 11 carries vs. Notre Lame as well.
If he stays healthy, Fournette shows he's a fantastic tailback. Same with Chubb. Whose better? Still way too early to tell in their careers.
Sort've like Bama Fans arguing the future careers of Ingram or Richardson...when in reality Lacy has been and will continue to be the far superior of the three.
