Why are Georgia fans still so rustled about Fournette getting compared to their hero, Herschel and not Chubb? Let it go, guys. Chubb is really good and had a very impressive freshman season. He just isn't the sensation that Leonard is.

You should start a thread about LSU and UGA's passing games being virtually even and see how fast they jump all over your shite
I could post 99% of the things that UGA fans are saying to make Chubb look better than Fournette in any other context and they'd all freak the frick out and say I'm the dumbest poster that's ever lived

That's still 30% more production. Would you rather have a 1000 yard back or a 1300 yard back? Chubb was first team All SEC and the SEC freshman of the of the year.
Well, of course you would rather the 1300 yard back, but is that what separates accomplishing something vs. not accomplishing anything? A couple hundred yards and a handful of touchdowns?

Again...Fournette may end up being a great player. But at the moment I think it's pretty ridiculous for him to be compared to Chubb.
I'm not arguing that Fournette is the better back. I also don't think it is ridiculous for him to be compared to Chubb. Chubb is good, but he isn't far and away the best back in the league such that no other back deserves to be compared to him.

Yeah, LSU fans have been nothing but calm and reasonable in this thread

That's a true story but LSU has had great backs the last few years so it's a good plan.

We aren't rustled we are just pointing out how stupid some of you are for saying the two had equal seasons or that LF is better. If you don't want an argument go circle jerk on the tiger rant and I promise we won't follow

I agree, but it is also why I don't think LSU has very many RBs up for individual awards very often.

If the sensation you are referring to is that feeling of disappointment you get after a really good preview leads to a really average movie you are correct.

Both fanbases are retards in this thread. There are maybe 2-3 total people who arent being dumbasses in here
Can I be one of those 2-3?

Chubb undeniably had the better freshman campaign
LF came on very strong at the end and showed great improvement. Going to be interesting to see who has the better year between him and Chubb. Should be very close

really average movie you are correct.

I'm just confused about how <300 yards and a handful of touchdowns can be the difference between accomplishing something and having accomplished nothing.

Fournette is not a middle of the pack RB, and that is what is frustrating LSU fans deservedly so. He's top 5.
Fournette was not a top 5 back in the SEC last season. At the end of the regular season he was ranked 13th in rushing yards in the conference. After the bowl game I believe he was ranked 7th.
A very good back, but not top 5.

So a 1000 yard season is comparable to a 1500 yard season? Not a very fair comparison for either one. Kind of makes your boy look worse than he is doesn't it?

I'll eagerly await that comparison thread.

Do you think that's the line that should be drawn between accomplishing something vs. accomplishing nothing?
