Sorry we aren't going to have an away game against Troy. Your biggest win of the season was against the worst AU team in probably forever. You guys suck and it was hilarious watching MSU get to 7-0 then crash and burn like everyone knew they would.

No but your We Believe campaign was hilarious, especially when we found out the quality of teams you had beaten. And you wonder why no one takes you seriously.

I see what you are saying, but name the last time State went to three straight bowl games, regardless of who they played.
If you were to look at it from a different perspective, Mullen has done a pretty damn good job. He just comes off as an arse.

You can pile on State for a lot of things but that shouldn't be one of them coming from ole miss fan.
We went 2-10 last year, so mediocrity is better than being the worst team in the conference like last year. I know not you personally, but you would think from MSU that their team was the best thing since sliced bread. Compared to the Georgia and South Carolina gameday thread, there is a clear amount of posters that wanted you to lose. You've had 4 years with Mullen and are still in mediocrity.

Not trying to be a smartass, but I liked MSU's unis and especially vs. A&M. The "Hail State" in place of player names was a bit much, but I liked what they did there and I like the chutzpah commemorating the big win in Shreveport over A&M. But mostly I liked it because it turned Sumlin loose to do something his players had longed for with the black uniforms. There's no way that happens 10 years ago or even last year - old Ags wouldn't have tolerated it.
But unis ain't the problem for either team. I hope MSU picks up the pace, but it's going to be tough if Arky and Auburn get off their butts.

old Ags have zero control over what the coach does with the uniforms.
remember when Fran thought he could motivate the team by taking players names off the back?
that was pretty much hated by everyone.
only reason the all blacks were even made was b/c State was doing the snow bowl thing. Without that it never happens.
