trooper has been recruiter of the year 3 times.

luper is also fantastic recruiter, and has had 5 1000 yd rushers in a row now

grimes has done a terrific job with the oline

Rocker is the best DL coach in the nation

boulware is alright, gotten a little better since last year

roof is great in the 2nd half

thigpen has been a top 10 recruiter 2 times as well, and has done an alright job

lolley is the weakest coach on the team IMO

our coaching staff is second to none in the sec

I don't recall thinking that Rocker was the best Dline coach in the nation when he was at Arkansas, and I wonder how anyone would know that now.

Other than that, it would appear that your staff is populated by recruiters first, with coaching prowess being a bit less important to you.

I suspect your staff is no better than many of the SEC coaching staffs(including Arkansas.)

You don't know much about football then. I like how when saban wins, which is much more often than not, its because of the talent on his team but when he loses, its because he was outcoached. No offense, but your logic is fricking stupid.

Name me 3 games he has won with inferior talent.

2008 UGA, 2009 UF, 2007 Arky, and that is just while he has been at Alabama. Your argument is stupid anyway, seeing as how most great coaches have had good talent.

2008 Georgia = Wrong

lol explain to me how 2007 bama was more talented than 2007 arky, as well as 2008 uga and bama. It doesn't really matter though, because as I already stated, your logic is really fricking dumb.

The Tide defeated Colorado in the 2007 Independence Bowl 30–24 to finish their first season under Nick Saban at a 7–6 (4–4) record, however two years later the first five wins of the season were vacated as part of a penalty placed against Alabama by the NCAA for infractions committed during the season.

Vacated. Not forfeited. When you vacate a win, the win is wiped off the record for your team, but still counts as a loss for the other team. So Arkansas still has the loss. Bama just doesn't have a win in the record books.

Yea you are right. I kinda got myself into a stupid argument on my end. Let me back out of this thing and say that Saban is a good coach but I don't agree he is the best coach in the country. He is the best recruiter in the country.

If Malzahn went to coach Vandy and had an awful record over two years, then went to a football school and had a winning record would the turnaround be that be amazing?

Chizik won the Broyles Award

He coached three consecutive Thorpe Award winners, starting with Auburn's Carlos Rogers in 2004, followed by Texas' Michael Huff and Aaron Ross in 2005 and 2006, respectively.

He has always been a heck of a coach.
