Who should be SEC coach of the year? Give us your choice so we can shoot holes in it for you and tell you why it's bullshite.

That wasn't even part of my argument... My argument is your team is 8 wins without newton.

Give the trophy to chizik , I really don't care. I just know that AU is a one trick pony.

Then why, why, why, was Chris Todd able to lead this offense and have one of the best offenses in the country?

And that includes great offensive performances against strong defensive teams like Tennessee and Alabama.

That offense had two bad games all year and you're discrediting them for it.

Your numbers are also skewed by your fast paced offense. You get about 80 plays a game correct? Hurry up offense means you are able to manage the clock in a manner that allow you to inflate numbers.

No one listens to that argument when they talk about our defense being on the field more so why include it now?

Our offense is discredited because it runs more plays?

I'll make it simple for you

Faster you get set at the LOS the more time you preserve on the clock, the more time you have to rack up yards. It extends the game to a sense. Now that is negated of course if the other teams offense is controlling the clock keeping your offense off the field. Which is actually the best way to stop Newton. Bench him

Understand now?

Go ahead and claim your victory though. Put it next to the peoples championship

I'm pretty sure I already made that clear and still pose the question about how that discredits the offense in any way...

You go ahead and act like you even have an argument when you really don't though. Par for the course in your endless pursuit the put down Auburn.

Why didn't Chizik get it last year then? He did more with less last year than Saban did with Bama? Shouldn't Saban have been penalized for having the Heisman trophy winner on his team?

I'd argue Kiffin did more with less than Chizik.

Agreed. If Cam comes back, you may be a two trick pony. Although it would really just be the same trick, twice.

ha, that's funny.

But seriously there's talent all around Newton. From the awesome offensive line to the great receiving corps and the great RB play.

No idea what's going to happen this year. It's a strange year in college football. After Newton's gone, I see you being the type of team that lights up the mediocre teams and falls short against the better teams, at least until Malzahn leaves.

If Newton comes back next year we might not see another Malzahn offense without him, he's gone.

I'm thinking Malzahn is another awesome year away from taking a HC gig. If Newton comes back next year you have to assume there's a high level program looking for the next big thing.

My position on Chizik/Malzahn has been that Malzahn will leave for a head coaching job and then things will fall apart for both guys.
