Clemson has been to big dance 10 times, SC only 9 times despite playing in weaker basketball conference.

It's amazing really... This whole thread has been the two of them essentially doing this:

Even my Clemson alum family would be embarrassed.

Correct. We also have more ACC Championships in that "stronger basketball conference" than Clemson, more Sweet 16s, and a Final Four. Objectively, we are the better program.

By Titles
(8) SEC = Kentucky
(5) ACC = Dook
(5) ACC = UNC
(2) SEC = Florida
(2) ACC = NC State
(1) SEC = Arkansas

11 titles to 12 is fairly even

ACC teams with at least 1 Final Four (as ACC members)
(6) UNC, Dook, NC State, UVA, Georgia Tech, and Wake
(6) UK, Florida, Arkansas, Mississippi State, South Carolina, and Georgia

6 teams to 6 teams is even

I don't personally care, just found the conversation interesting while I was here.

If you don't see that your collective arguments are lacking any foundation of coherent logic, then it wouldn't help for me to explain to you why you should be embarrassed.

No one cares about girls basketball except the winners.

Even the Tennessee fans from their heyday don't go as much. Ten years ago they averaged 15,000+. Now they aren't winning every year and average 10,000. And that's a school with a rich history in the sport. A blueblood.

USCjr averages 14,000+ a game. They're very good. Seven-eight years ago they had 2,000 at games. They sucked and were an afterthought. The parents and do-gooders white-knighting for women's equality like you were the only ones there.

TWO girl's basketball programs averaged over 10k attendance last year. 43 men's programs did. It's because it's not good to watch. But I'm the one who's a racist, bigot, tater, slow, etc for pointing that out. I don't believe I've ever hinted that you shouldn't watch it. But don't act like these 'fans' aren't hypocrites. They weren't there when the team sucked, and now that they're winning, it's the best thing ever. LOL.

You are the only person I've ever seen equate girl's basketball to voting, by the way.

You know a lot about women's basketball attendance for someone who doesn't care about women's basketball.

titles don't speak to how competitive the conference is. i think that i've discussed and proved this a million times now. lol

TEAMS win titles. not conferences. you conference cheerleaders will never get this.

I was thinking the same thing

Guy is either trolling or a total retard who comes on a thread to discuss a sport they do not follow.

As to our Tater poster…

I have been to several Final Fours where the Vols were not actually in the Final Four yet they still were the most represented fan base in the arena. At least they care enough to show up for a game their team is not playing in instead of discussing it on a SEC board about how much a sport they do not follow sucks so much.

ok, i don't think most clemson fans would be embarrassed. i see True CLemson Fans make this statemetn as well but they never provide any specifics as to why other Clemson fans would be embarrassed when I say positive things about Clemson in response to trash talk.

Pretty sure they do. If your conference is not winning titles it directly affects your TV media rights values. Just because ESPN has been blowing the ACC for decades does not negate the facts the SEC has some winning college basketball.

I looked it up. Google is pretty cool. Took like 2 minutes. I wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one who didn't like girls baskeball.

I'm not.

if you look at number of teams SEC gets into the big dance every year, compared to ACC, that doesn't hold up.

Getting in does not equate surviving

ACC got 9 in this year and only one survived the opening weekend

SEC got 5 in this year and 3 made it to the Elite Eight

If Dores do not shoot themselves in the foot the SEC goes 5-0 in first games

If refs don't job the Hogs, SEC has at least 4 advance and ACC advances ZERO!

You really are slow aren't you?

Nobody is arguing your ability to dislike females who play basketball, it is your retarded ability to come on a SEC board and rant about it when you do not follow it that makes Taters the slow coaches they are.

Less retarded fans would just avoid posting on a thread they do not follow to show they have a higher level of intelligence.

If the Dores and Hogs had won, you might be on to something. But they didn't, and here we are in reality.

that doesn't mean anything in a single elimination tournament. keep in mind SC got a home game against Duke too.

FSU was matched up with Xavier who was much better than typical 11 seed, etc.
