After living out west for many years it didn't take long to realize how much everyone outside the SEC truly hates the SEC. After hearing the haters act like they won a game with every SEC loss I pull for every SEC team to win.

Cheering for Auburn to serve undefeated UCF a big serving of stfu. Hope LSU sends the pompous Irish into a meltdown. SC over Michigan and so forth

South Carolina beating Michigan would be amazing. I talk trash about the gamecocks a lot. But i support them

I am one of those who always pulls for conference teams against non conference teams. If you don't, that's ok. The truth is unless you are coach or a player, it really doesn't matter who we pull for. So pull for whoever you want.

cheering for your rivals is stupid as hell.

IDGAF what some random, nameless, faceless person I'll never know in bumfrick kansas thinks if UCF beats auburn. Why would that matter to me in ANY way?

I always pull for SEC teams during the bowl season and anytime they are playing out of conference during the season. Everyone hates the south so we have to stick together against outsiders

At this point I want to see all the sec teams do well. anyone can see the narrative that the media and CFP committee are trying to initiate that the sec is bad and therefore devalue our playoff teams. Beating LSU and aTm and OM and TN needs to mean something. This conference is better and more fun to watch when the games are competitive. I like watching Bama LSU and Arkansas finishing in the top three of the end of season polls.

Bowl games are the best times to be okay with your rivals winning. Regular season, it depends on how it affects your team for them to win or lose certain games. Most of the time I am indifferent.

Prior to the BCS I never really cheered for any other SEC team. I am also not one to root against them. However, the BCS and now the Playoff requires you to root for the rest of the conference.

Case in point. Normally a 2 loss non blue blood wouldn't be considered for the playoff but because uga and bama were undefeated it allowed Auburn to climb into the playoff discussion.

The bowl games this year set the tone for pre-season expectations next year, etc...

Posting with reason and sensible statements?

I gotta say, your tactics are a bit confusing

I would pull for anybody against Clemson. As for UGA, they are considered by most fans to be our second biggest rival and in recent years, the UGA game has been the biggest game for us. It would make sense for us to pull against the Dawgs, but I just can't stand anything about Oklahoma. Vince Dooley on the other hand is one of classiest human beings alive and was the biggest (and probably only) voice for South Carolina to get into the SEC. He has a lot of people who like and respect him on this side of the Savannah River. I'm pulling for UGA to beat OU.

i cheer for everyone in the SEC except UT, OM, and UF. Coincidentally none are going to a bowl game this year. That makes me happy.

You were already served but I hope one day there's a thread where Aggie doesn't pretend to be buddy buddy with the Alabama football program.
