You've got to, right? If we lose to Arky, and you get the unlikely win against a (then) 4-loss OM, it'll be a less valuable win than Baylor/TCU's wins over 3-loss KSU. Your slot in the final four could ride on the outcome of the OM-Arky game.

Not a lot of difference between wins over 8-4 Ole Miss and 7-5 Arkansas.

Nope, but beating a 9-2 OM that's probably still in the CFP top 8 could be the win that gets State the 4th spot.
I don't think State wins the egg bowl, but I'm sure they expect to, so that ought to have them rooting for OM this weekend.

There would be quite a difference IF they were to knock off a #8 9-2 team on the road in a hated rivalry game compared to them beating a #16-20 8-3 OM team.
If you cant see that well then you aren't very bright. Which is why most of ED is pulling for Arky

this should be the answer that every State fan gives. But i think their hatred for us is too much to admit that.
I for one hope State beats Vandy so we can knock of the #4 team thats only loss was currently to Bama which was another team that only lost to us.

No I'd rather watch yall lose. The only losses yall would have would be to SEC west teams. Which is still a strong resume. We win out and were in.

I'm pulling for the Rebs based on 3 reasons:
1) A win over a 9-2 OM would help solidify our playoff spot
2) A 9-2 OM team would mean more viewers for the CBS game.
3) Most importantly, I want Hotty Tottyville rocking and the Rebs all excited about their future when the Dawgs lay a major arse beat down. Then let the meltdown begin just like after the LSU & Auburn game--Reality Bites !!

To be honest, I really don't care what happens.
We need to win out. Pulling for y'all against Arkansas isn't going to effect the outcome one way or the other so I'll be happy either way.

100% pulling for OM. Not very confident though. Arky plays to their weakness and that D is extremely underrated.

I do not think the Ole Miss / Ark game is going to matter. I fully expect one of the top 4 teams to lose another game. And yes that might be MSU losing to Ole Miss. I am pulling for Ark, not because I hate Ole Miss, but because I am glad to see them starting to turn things around. I like their coach, their old school offense, and I think it would be great for their program.

I'm pulling for OM. I want an egg bowl with both teams having something to play for. It'd be playing for a shot to win the west pending the outcome of the IB
