LSU threatened to leave for the Big 12 one too many times. Now, Birmingham is bringing the Big 12 to you.

Sorry. Too late.

I am only if Auburn and Alabama move to the SEC East and Alabama instantly makes UGA and Florida their bitch.

While LSU replaces Alabama in the SEC West as the top dog, and because all of the best of the best recruits want to play for the top dog, LSU will inevitably get the greater bulk of them because no one in the SEC West will be able to compete with Ed O on the recruiting front.

Meanwhile, LSU and Alabama will still play on an annual basis, but on a neutral field for the SEC title.

Then when the new expanded College Football Playoff begin in the not too distant future, both LSU and Alabama will be in it every year.

Hence, as an LSU fan, I support the addition of OU and Texas to the SEC West, with Auburn and Alabama moving to the SEC East. As geographically it makes the most sense.

I’m excited because it’s such a big story and the SEC is clearly out in front of the changes.

I’m also concerned about the future of CFB, with conferences, NIL, and expanded playoffs.

Austin is a shithole ruined by liberals and Californians. The San Francisco of Texas.

I like it TBH. Live in Texas. Half the family are sips. Not that much fun talking football with them for the last decade. I hope we can move back to Thanksgiving but if we can’t that’s fine also.

Texass is coming to the SEC hat in hand. They can never live that down.

Cool with me.

Im pretty excited about the okies, ive found them to be pretty good folks in general.

Im ok with the sips; not super excited to be around them, but if college ball is going to super conferences then it makes good sense for the league to bring them in.

It will make for great football, so im all for it!

Just curious, but why would you say this about those trips?
I’ve been to Norman. Just not worth the trip honestly.

Austin used to kick arse a decade ago but it’s just too liberal for my taste now.

I'm thrilled we got two big programs however it's time for the SEC brass to put together even divisions or pods.

Austin is a cool town if you can get past the t shirt fans, which actually resemble your t shirt fans.

Norman is regularly spoken of as one of the best road trips in college football. The only way you get nicer fans from a traditional power is if you travel to Nebraska.

I gotcha. I’ve never been to Norman or DKR.

I did watch them play against each other in the Cotton Bowl when I lived in D/FW as a kid. It was during the Texas State Fair. It was an amazing time to be a kid
