Texas isn't going to ever be "the best" football program, so I just don't have a problem agreeing with logic that would classify Princeton as the best. It's just playing musical chairs.

I dunno I've been a Princeton fan for about 24 hours and it feels pretty sweet to be #1. Maybe some day you'll be able to enjoy this feeling too, but probably not.

If that is the case, I'd talk to as many of those Princeton fans that were actually alive for their last championship... soak in the memories. Because they will all be dead pretty soon. Those silent newsreels don't capture the magic and emotion of hearing about it from a first hand witness. My math says any student from the last championship year would be at least 90 years old so you will forgive some of them if they can't really remember it. That will always trump seeing your team win 7 championships in your lifetime in real time. I will have to live with such a subpar experience compared to Princeton Tiger fans.

Fact is...take out the war years, when ‘sips were draft dodging in Austin, the record is much closer than tu would have you believe against a military school. The first 20 meetings were NOT in College Station.
From 1945 to the 1970s, the fricking longhorns bought up all the talent in the state because there were no scholarship limits.
Up until the mid 1960s, A&M was effectively just like The Citadel.
Since the mid-1970s, when Aggy started to catch up, the record has been about 50/50.
