Check in if your college football team had the best season in cfb history.

It's a travesty that having "the best season in cfb history" still only gets you one NC.

Perhaps you guys can put up a billboard demanding that if a team has "the best season in cfb history" they should be awarded at least two or three NCs?

It would be worth more if LSU used the same criteria for claiming championships that Bama uses. If we used the Bama criteris it would be worth 5 at least.

Ironically, if we did, LSU could claim National Championships not only in 1958, 2003, 2007, and 2019, but also 6 more in:

1908 (Although this one IS listed in many web sites as a legitimate NC, shared with Penn, if we're going historically before the A.P. Poll era.)
1935
1936
1961
1962
2011

(Billingsley, Sagarin Index, Dunkel Index, NCA, etc.)

Charles freakin’ Woodson. Peyton’s reaction to Woodson’s name being called says it all.

Nebraska 95 beat one top 5 team and 4 top 10 teams and went 12-0

LSU beat 4 top 5 teams and 7 top 10 teams and went 15-0 NEXT

6 National awards for LSU
1 National award for Nebraska

I wonder who won the championship game more convincingly...95 NU or 19 LSU?

95 NU

That was easy.

It seems odd we are going to talk about the 1944 or 1945 Army teams on here but I'm down with really odd threads.

Yes, what they pulled off is amazing.

LSU deserves all the credit in the world for being in the same consideration with those Army teams. It was a great season, from a great team, that lands in the top 5 seasons of all time if you ask me.

Imagine Nebraska CB’s and safeties trying to cover our receiver. We would have 100 points

'V. Young did have a great performance in the Rose Bowl, but 05 Tejas played in the wittle 12 so that automatically disqualifies them.
