...and for the pig below ...Gamecock baseball has had 3 different coaches take Carolina to Omaha. the first trip in 1975 - which is 4 years earlier than Arkansas' first ever visit to Rosenblatt. matter of fact - USC played in the title game in 1975 & 1977 - both before Arkansas ever appeared in Omaha.

Sounds like we are the only program in the country capable of taking 3 different coaches to Omaha in the same decade. Speaks more about the STABILITY of our program. Meanwhile USCjr loses their goat and can’t even make the post season

Since their last appearance we have been 3 times. We have the same amount of appearances. We have way more total wins. More conference titles (they were in a Mickey Mouse conference for the better part of 20 years).
Historically we are a more consistent program than USCjr.

BOTH coaches who've followed Ray Tanner at Carolina have had the Gamecocks 1 win away from Omaha in road Supers - as recently as 2018 (no post-season in 2020).
State has a fine baseball program. Carolina takes a back seat to nobody in the SEC as far as tradition / pedigree. LSU is the SEC standard.
bigger picture - here's 1 thing State's done more than Carolina since the Gamecocks entered the SEC in 1992 - MSU's had 11 losing seasons of 28 total in league play. USC 6.

So overall, y’all both have made the same amount of appearances. Carolina has actually made it more than y’all since 2000 plus they have two titles compared to your 0. I could give two shites about either of your teams. Carolina has the trophies to back up their claim of having a better historical CWS run. Like I said, I honestly think MSU’s time is coming and they are looking to be better recently than Carolina.
