That's too much. Moorhead underachieved with a QB who was known to be not a good passer. He (Moorhead) lost us a couple games because of his stubbornness but hell so did Mullen. If we luck up and get a throwing qb and keep the defense adequate we will be a dark horse.

Joe Moorhead was a terrible hire.

Miss St is doing just fine. There is just something really weird about our series the last 4 yrs, all being home team sweeps.

And it's not like you lost to nobodies or an unranked team. We're pretty good and we had 10k+ at every game.

It's pretty difficult to beat those boys at Baum-Walker.

It could be a hell of a lot worse.

And it has my friend. Some of these younger State fans don’t know how worse it could be.

I don’t think anybody with a decent job wants to be associated with OM.

OM=racism=loss of job

Pretty even in football tradition. You guys should be pleased with your results. Tiny stadium and always in the mix in football. My guess is Moo St wins the West before Aggy

Eddie O - over Ensminger - over Aranda - over Time for championships
Orgeron- No more Honeymoon with Woodward. He has a very short rope now.

Ensminger- Joe Brady (Payton protégé from the Saints) here now as "Passing Game Coordinator." Will be taking over as OC in 2020.

Aranda. No. He's safe. Top 10 DC in College Football.

Absolutely way past time for Championships, but LSU still doesn't have the OL talent or DL depth for that. Don't ask me why that is.

Been there one season. Hasn't even recruited for his offensive system yet.

He did squander one of the most talented defenses for Miss State in my memory though

Honeymoon period is a period in the tenure of someone or something in which they perform better during that period than what their overall trajectory of their tenure ends as. Since O did better in 2018 than 2017, the honeymoon period can’t be over. I never thought of Aranda as having a honeymoon period and still consider him a top 3 defensive mind in CFB. Ensminger is the OC so if we are attributing offensive performance to him, LSU’s offense performed better after the Alabama game than before.

Honeymoon definition:

quote:

A relatively brief period when a new leader is given greater leeway with respect to changes he or she wishes to make.

quote:

The length of time at the start of something new, particularly a new job, in which mistakes may be overlooked.

quote:

The early part of an intimate relationship, in which the couple are infatuated with each other.

8 wins at State in his 1st season and breaking in a new offense without any players that he didn't recruit. Good thing that Mullen won 10 in his first season. Mullen won 5 in his 1st season. Smart won 8 in his first season. Surely, Saban won 14 in his 1st season. Saban won 7 in his first year. I guess we will find out about Moorhead in 2 or 3 years.
