Nah. Trust me, you'd know if I was melting. I think Indiana was my last.

Is being a Mizzou fan honestly that much better?

Yes, but mainly from the non-sports aspect. Aside from athletics, I would be ashamed to be associated with the state of Arkansas.

STL can answer for that. I don't claim STL as part of Missouri

Yes because it isn't in the south.

So we all know what "Mizzouing" is or the classic "Mizzou Luck". It's like Mizzou always finds new, heartbreaking ways to lose or have bad luck. Whether it's a 5 down, a kicked ball, a Tyus Edney, Andrew Baggett's doink off the upright, Wes Clark's missed free throws, Norfolk State, DGB, etc etc etc. If you're a Mizzou fan you get the idea.

My question is, is this actually a Mizzou thing? Is there really such thing as "Mizzou luck"? Does Mizzou actually have more misfortune than most schools?

Or do these kinds of things happen to other schools with the same frequency as they do to us, and we just tell ourselves it only happens to us?

I'm tempted to be logical and say that no more misfortune happens to Mizzou than any other school, but I just can't get myself to believe that. I mean seriously, how many schools have had a 5th-down type incident which is not just bad luck, but is outside the rules and structure of the game? I personally think Mizzou is truly more unlucky than most other colleges.

What do you guys think about it?

Seems like you aren't exactly proud of being a Missouri fan. Sorry, we aren't accepting transfers at this time

Seems you misinterpreted my point, which comes as no surprise to me. As always, thanks for keeping up with our board.
