Right?

He'll probably sue A&M though.

They're not firing one of the highest paid DCs in CFB after one game

This isn't about your offense. Yeah, your freshman QB struggled... But the defense.. wow.

Chavis must be gone. I'd let Sumlin finish out the season (or at least next few games) to see how his offensive mind does with a decent defense.

Chavis' contract runs out after this year and will not be renewed.

He didn't make the decision to PULL A QB MAKING HIS FIRST START up 24-3 when he needs as many reps as possible in favor of a true freshman who makes Jeremy Johnson look like Aaron Rogers.

Since I doubt they could fire him for cause, why would he bother? His contract is guaranteed for 1.6 million this year, if I'm not mistaken.

No reason.

His contract is up at the end of the year and he won't be back. Put the money toward's Sumling's stupid buyout and call it a day.

It's all on Sumlin. How the heck do you call off the rushing game that was gashing UCLA all the first half? How do you allow a true freshman to continue to play over a junior (I think)? The defense seemed to go to sleep in the 2nd half too.

A 34 point lead pissed away.

That was just insane. I can't remember the last time I saw something like that happen.
