These post/threads have become so childish.

"My ______ is better than your ________."

Grow up people - they are all amazing athletes and coaches, and some are amazing people as well. I mean I saw a post yesterday about how Saban was smiling while talking about the tornadoes. I mean, really? Really? I felt dirty by being in the same arena with dumbasses who could possibly write something like that.

This time I really am off the Rant for a few weeks - it has become a daily joke now. I have better things to do than read this garbage.

To the decent posters . . . later.

Well why is Saban's D ranked #1 and third and Chavis's isn't?

This is a shitty thread but your response is just as bad. If you can't figure this one out yourself you should try watching some football games that don't involve Bama.

no doubt and it is very telling their lack of football knowledge along with intellectual dishonesty. Sure, teams CAN beat themselves due to mistakes. But anyone with half a pea brain could see LSU made tons of mistakes and yet still won. Everyone thinks turnover's are mistakes where you give it to the other team, sometimes, but not all the time. Bama gave us ZERO turnovers. we TOOK those turnovers. Reiud robbed the TE and Mo baited McCarron. It is not like they fumbled it away without us causing a strip or their QB just lobbing it up there for anyone to grab or throwing it right into a defender's chest. The fcat they cannot differentiate between the two shows their lack of education and real knowledge about football. or maybe just too much crimson and white kool-aid. probably both.

I posted this in another thread and it CAN be applied here even though we are talking about defensive strategies and stats/results instead of turnovers.

his 2001 D with john henderson and haynesworth was very good also. he has had other very good defenses as well. stop trying to marginalize the guys coaching abilities and results. look at his defensive rankings over the years. that is a better sign. guy can coach.

The team was good, although I'm not sure how Chavis didn't figure out the "Matt Mauk qb sneak" offense.
