Idk how y'all couldn't tell he was kidding. When he's actually mad I'm scared for his life.

Turned in would have been a better way of phrasing it. Previous poster said Luther was turned in by Bama. My question is turned in for doing what?
Anybody?

Yeah, not sure why an agents rep would want a guy to stay another year.

Anybody?

He probably was ineligible. But the burden of proof is now on the NCAA. If no one talks....we walk.

What trap? We're repeating a rumor started on Rivals and BOL. Who knows if it's true?

It hasn't been officially confirmed that he was turned in. All we have is message board innuendo.
And if he was turned in back in December, that would actually make Alabama look even better because Fluker ended up playing in the game.

The evidence that the NCAA cannot use is right in front of them. They can't use anything in that article per their bylaws. They have to get the orginal docs. etc. If no one talks (which they wont) they can't do anything.
Yeah, but those Western Union slips are recorded in their computer system. Might not be easy for them to get the records, but it's possible.

What is the punishment in Alabama for agents doing that? He was turned in but allowed to walk?

He wasn't turned in. That's not the rumor at all. The rumor is he was disassociated from The University of Alabama back in December. That means we said, "Stay away from our players or else."

They can't get them unless they are given to them by one of the parties in question.

Then they knew what was going on and played an ineligible player anyway.

Or it could be they knew Fluker didn't take anything seeing as Saban has reported multiple instances of his players having illegal contact with agents. We held Andre Smith out of the 2009 Sugar Bowl and suspended Marcell Dareus for 4 games.
Just playing devil's advocate.

Playing an ineligible player does not automatically result is vacation of any win he played in. What matters is if the school knew or should have known he was ineligible and played him anyways. USC got hammered because the NCAA found that USC coaches knew Bush was getting paid hundreds of thousands by agents and they willfully turned a blind eye. With Fluker we are talking about 10 or 15 thousand or so and a compliance department and coaching staff that vehemently educates players about agents and does everything in its power to keep the agents run off.
If Fluker had returned for his senior year he would likely be found ineligible for this season, but Bama the program is not going to be hit hard unless the NCAA finds that the program was loose and reckless with agents, which Bama most certainly is not.

So Saban just nonchalantly disassociates one of his former players and former Bama alumni from the program just for being suspicious? All the while Fluker admits on twitter about being paid. I mean look I understand trying to spin for your program and all but come on. You know you don't believe that. But again, the NCAA will be hiding in the corner with their eyes closed so it won't matter.
