This was a very well thought and reasoned post.

I fear you are completely wrong. But you were wrong because you applied logic to Kiffin. His career proves otherwise.

A very good season followed by an absolute arse beating against Oklahoma and a close win over what might be the worst military academy this year is... well... its Kiffin. A great start, mediocre, and then the bottom falls out... that is his thang if you will.

We do not generate enough players to compete in the SEC in state. Texas is an area where we can recruit easily. Does that mean we should abandon the rest of the South? No. But giving up Texas is a foolish decision.

There are no great shortage of QBs in the Southwest footprint. Our problem is that our two starting QBs aren't... well... starting QBs. We have potentially great QBs signed but they are freshmen.

Arkansas not recruiting Texas is like Auburn not recruiting Georgia. Its right there next to you, its loaded with talent, and you can lure quite a few of them to your program.

We've gone through close to a decade of dumpster fire due to absolutely terrible hires, utterly embarrassing losses, and decisions from the admin.

2012 wasn't a decade ago.

And it is the 7th best class in the SEC West. Out of 7.

Our average is actually higher than Ole Miss but they have 7 more players committed. We're pretty close with MSU. Should get a nice bump if we get Hudson Henry.

Why do you all hate your new coach?

I don't know if Morris will ever be successful here, but I like him quite well. He at least deserves an opportunity to get his own players here.

As noted, we're just impatient because our PTB have made so many mistakes. The game against Colorado State was just another big disappointment, not so much because we lost, but because we lost when it was clear that we should have won. We keep inventing ways to lose winnable games.
