How did Chad Jones OWN Adams when Jones was the one that was on the ground like a lil bitch? Adams got up and walked to the sidelines while Jones was crying.

I have officiated different sports at the youth-high school level but I am no ncaa football rule expert, or any other kind of expert, but "when in question it is a foul" seriously, that is alot of gray.
My opinion is that the rule is poorly constructed with no clear guidelines.

I'm over it...I've had numerous posts stating why we LOST the game to LSU...
That being said...There are plenty of still pics that show him LEADING with his head...

It doesnt matter if he lead with his head or shoulder the rule doesnt state leading with head. All it says is a hit on an unprotected player above the shoulder. when in doubt throw the flag. The official saw the hit live and was in doubt...according to the rule the way it is written, good call.

exactly. the way the rule is written CJ committed a penalty, even though he did not lead with his head.
in the end i would say its just a blessing that neither player was seriously injured.

Only LSU fans would bitch about a call like this. The helmets go flying and both players get dazed, and you go on to win the game.
I've witnessed a player getting paralyzed for life in a high school football game. This is a good rule that protects players from serious spinal injuries.
If anything Chad Jones should be suspended by the SEC. If this was the NFL he would be getting a hefty fine.
