following a legend just doesn't work. someone has to do it but they just have to much to live up to. south Carolina deserves a better coach and I think they'll get it. that's a great recruiting area.

Hate that it didn't work out, but missing the tournament 2 out of 3 years is unacceptable at SC.. Especially coming off 3 straight CWS finals.

Shocked he resigned after his recent comments. Thought Ray would have forced his hand, which he may have and this just a way to save face.

If he's like me, he's surprised he isn't getting one more year with forced staff changes.

Oh. maybe that's why they let him resign. I can't recall seeing that happening instead of firing a guy. his contract must not have had any distinctions in regards to severance pay.
