... has NEVER won the championship.

2014 Alabama lost to OSU in first round
2015 Clemson lost to Alabama
2016 Alabama lost to Clemson
2017 Clemson lost to Alabama in first round
2018 Alabama lost to Clemson

Can LSU change it? Don't sleep on Clemson. Lincoln Riley makes pretty good halftime adjustments.

Because that meaningless stat helps ease your pain that BAMA is sitting their asses at home this year.

Just based on probability, I like the odds of it happening this time. The universe has a way of balancing things eventually.
Thank you for pointing it out though.

Streaks are made to be broken and I like this team to be the one to do it.

No Alabama this year to choke on it or spoil it.

I remember in 2009 when people kept throwing around this empty stat about the Saints: “no team has ever lost its last 3 games of the year and won the Super Bowl.”

It truly meant absolutely NOTHING due to the Saints sitting starters in Week 17. But people kept bringing it up as though it was gospel and couldn’t be done.

Empty stats that have zero bearing on a game or season are silly, such as this “no #1 seed has won the National Title.” It truly means nothing.
