Sumlin while being HC or a coordinator at A&M vs #1 ranked teams
2-0
30-26 vs OU - 2002 W
29-24 vs Bama - 2012 W
Sumlin vs Saban - 1-0
Seems fairly obvious whats going to happen in this game

By "crush" do you mean hurt a bunch of players or beat A&M by a wide margin, or both
both......I sense a Michiganesk humiliation coming.
I know this sounds like flaming, but I truly think this is going to get ugly for aTm.

bama will have a def, st, and off td plus go 1-4 of FG. Tamu will score 3 td and 1-1 on Fg. We have an OT game.

Or you hope....hope is a powerful thing, I guess.
Let's talk about a sig line bet, shall we? How many points are you willing to spot me on Bama "crushing" A&M. How many players are lost for the season in the game?

Bama is going to have to go 75+ yards every drive. Our kicker sends practically every kick through the endzone on kickoffs. Our punter has downed every punt inside the 20 this year including one from his own 10 yard line. Bama's O is going to have to produce and produce consistently. (Which can easily happen)

Florida game is not a good point of reference regarding A&M's offense being stopped. I thought SEC fans were smart about CFB?
We got a shite load dumber about a year and a half ago.

Alabama’s record after an open date is not as sparkling as one might expect. Since Nick Saban’s arrival in 2007, the team is 4-3 in the regular season after a bye week.
JFF is so far into their collective heads, that when he takes the field, the Bammers are going to be running around like chickens with their heads cut off while he carves them up with his arm and his legs.

We put up 29 on them last year... why would we expect anything different? Offense has gotten stronger since then...

In a way, this game really is a referendum on how good of a coach saban is IMO.
He has had all offseason to prepare and all reports is he has done just that. Prep for stoppin AtM and JFF nonstop.
JFF is still really good though and Sumlin's offense is really tough to stop in general.
We will see.

Wow!! Ags please stop. You have no defense. And JFF can be stopped. I think you score more than 17 maybe 20, because Bama's defense doesn't look like they are all their yet, but y'all will lose. The only reason you won last year was because we beat their arse down in Tiger Stadium and they weren't fully recovered and they still nearly beat you. This year rematch game with Saban he has a plan and it will work. The only thing that beats Saban is something extremely unexpected like you're defense showing up. And yes we got a shite load dumber in the sec last year

Thankfully for Saban we are going to run the exact same plays, in the exact same order as we did last year. Also we have not watched any film on his defense. We want to be just as suprised as they are when they line up.
We were so amazing last year that our offense took the entire off-season off. We havent improved one bit, in fact we are probably slower and out of shape. So much so that we will not be able to have JFF scramble. And losing Swoope means he has no targets to throw it to.
We lost Joeckel at LT so our line is now the equivalent of 5 folding chairs just waiting to be pushed over.
we fuuuuuuuuuuucked.
bama 77 A&M 0

Given the amount of time Saban has had to prepare, and given the talent he has on defense, and given how fresh and rested everyone will be, if Alabama can't stop Johnny Manziel, then I am ready to crown him the best college football player ever.
