Talked very high of State, but won't sneak up on anyone this year. JP said State finished 15th in the nation, but 5th in the SEC West, and it ain't getting any easier.

LSU at State on Thursday night could be a good one, imo

I agree, I think if we can get out of Auburn with a victory, being 2-0 going into the LSU game will be huge. That game will determine if we have an average year or great one IMO.

Looking forward to MSU @ Auburn in week two. If we can win that game, hopefully it'll get us some early confidence

Gonna be HUGE. I wish I could make it. It sucks its on a Thursday night. If I were to try and make it I would have to take two days of work if I were to try and make it.

I'm considering just taking off a half day and just going to the game and coming straight home. I like watching games on television almost as much as in person though, so a flying trip isn't really worth it to me.

I just want to get through Memphis first.

winning Auburn or LSU would be huge. Both would be great. Until we lose to UAB or something.

Yea in years past I would expect 1-2 "uabs, la techs, tulanes" type games per season where we have no business losing but because of the ineptitude of our coaching staff and our high level of suck, we would lose them.

But with Mullen here and our current staff/administration/increased talent level, I no longer even have a doubt in my mind that we will win those cupcake games that we SHOULD win.

We've gone from starting the season wondering who our embarrassing losses were going to come against to which perennial power team we have a strong chance to beat, as well as the assured feeling we will make a low tier bowl at the very least.

well after looking like shite against UAB last year and having to play them in that turd bucket of a stadium this year, it has got me a little worried.

I've got them beating Auburn this year. I think LSU will be to strong for them to pull out a win. I think State will be fine this season but ya never know. Teams sneak up on you every week.
