Its funny that ND is in top 5 of making the playoffs and opens the season as a 17 point underdog lol

So ridiculous, starting every season with 3-4 teams who have any chance of winning the title.

As a B1G fan, tell me about Minnesota?

They get mentioned as a dark horse all the time but if they were in the other division would they be talked about at all?

Minnesota has a good coach...high energy guy that can usually get the most out of lesser talent...although they lost to BGSU last year.

They are built to run the ball in the cold rain or snow games. They aren't going to out-athlete you in most cases. They are built to play against the other big and slow teams in the West...Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin are all built the same with huge linemen and big backs to play in the cold and snow.

No you probably wouldn't hear about them if they were in the East. Although, they seem to play very well against my Nittany Lions...lol

The teams in the East are all trying to build their personnel like Ohio State...big, fast, and athletic but not the hug road-graders like the teams in the West.

Honestly if Ohio State would have had any defense at all last year they would have been undefeated and in the CFP...Michigan was a good team but not elite like you have to be in the CFP.
