I would put money down on the 2nd row to not win it. Bunch of posers living off championships from eons ago

ESPN's prediction metrics are beyond awful. I guess I could have just said ESPN is awful and that would have been true, too.

I think ESPN could also have titled the graphic "Big 10 most lopsided conference"

Its funny that ND is in top 5 of making the playoffs and opens the season as a 17 point underdog lol

ESPN telling Jimbeaux to "Know your role, and shut your mouth"

Clemson, Alabama, and Ohio State will be in. Just another year of the CFB playoff, nothing new to see here.

Yep, I bet 3 of the first 4 listed are in. Either Bama or Georgia from the SEC, dont see both getting in again.

I don't think we'll have two from the SEC this season.
One of the 2 slips up or gets demolished in the SECCG and takes them out of the playoff.

As a Big 10 fan i agree 100%.
If Ohio State gets past ND, they won't be challenged again until Michigan at the end of the season. The Big 10 is full of good to average teams this year. Wisc, Sparty, Iowa, and Minnesota are all good teams this year but would finish middle of the pack at best in the SEC.
Ohio State is loaded on offense and if they get any defensive help whatsoever this year they will be in the CFP.

If Clemson's QB doesn't improve drastically from last year there is no way we return to the CFB.

I'd say there's a very good chance that both are 12-0 going into the SECCG when you look at their schedules. Especially UGA... our schedule is particularly easy this year.
A 12-0 UGA losing to a 11-1 or 12-0 Bama (or vice versa) would make it very likely both would be in again unless other conferences put up a lot of 1-loss champions.

Get ready for the "quality loss" spam if Notre Dame loses to OSU

The non-SEC teams all have a shot to get in if they dominate their weak schedules... To win it all, not so much.

This is the problem with college football in a nutshell.

As a B1G fan, tell me about Minnesota?
They get mentioned as a dark horse all the time but if they were in the other division would they be talked about at all?

to be fair it's not "best teams" it's best playoff chance. They'll get smoked by OSu but if they win the rest of their games they're 11-1 which will at least have a punchers chance. And I mean their prediction for ND is less than 18% so ti's not like they're saying it's happenign.
