If it happens this is my plan. Don’t know about the rest of y’all.

Herman wasn’t disliked because he was somewhere else and successful. He was disliked because he rejected LSU whose fans then made sure to point out how terrible he was at his job after they “dodged that bullet.”

Can you see the difference between the Saban and Brady comparison now, or do I need to chew the food for you too?

Blah, blah.

Ed Orgeron stiffed LSU in 2009 and flaked to Tennessee with Kiffin before eventually ending up at LSU.

That’s about as close as you get to a “you’re right, I’m an idiot” concession here, so I’ll take it.

I don’t think you made the point you think you did there. I’m going to let you figure this one out on your own.

Getting stiffed by a coach who eventually ended up at LSU down the road? That’s what Ed did, akin to Herman if he actually ended up at LSU (which I don’t really believe happening anyway).

Take it or leave it.

As for Herman's failure at Texas, we all know OC is different from HC. He was a successful OC at Ohio State and did a great job at Houston. No reason to think he wouldn't do a good job at LSU as OC. I wouldn't want him for Head Coach, though.
Very true. However, a lot of his problems were masked by the fact that he had 3 athletes at QB that were all good enough to make it to the NFL, plus Ezekiel Elliott all in the backfield at the same time.

At Texas, he would constantly shell up when he had any sort of lead and every game would turn in to a one-score affair when it had no reason to be. It would particularly bite him in the arse if he was going against a spread offense that could score in a hurry, which is on average 70% of the Big 12.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of offense he would choose to implement with the Tigers' personnel if he ends up getting the job.

The last time Tom Herman was an OC:

(Reminder: He did that with a 3rd string QB that had 1 career start prior to the CFP)

THAT is why Tide fans are shaking in their off-white Velcro Reeboks ITT.

Look man give up its clear you think this is a good football hire for LSU

When people think it’s a bad football hire, football aspects and xs and Os are attacked

When someone knows it’s good for football, they attack and troll everything else

You know this is accurate. You can tell when someone actually thinks a hire is bad. They react totally different than the trolling that happens when a hire that threatens their team is made.
