OU had a ton of lucky bounces last year and still lost to every decent team they played.

They beat Michigan (9-3) and Alabama (Playoff team) the first time they played.

OU will be pretty good again. Not sure if they’ll take the step forward that their fans are anticipating, but BV seems to have them at being a very good playoff contender type team.

If they improve like their fans hope they could be a title contender

What is CBS sports’ credibility with this stuff?

Is it meant to be an accurate analysis?

Or is it meant to drive clicks?

Weird, I counted 5 ranked wins on their schedule.

Agreed, if our Oline is that good we probably win the conference. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Anyone who thinks OU isn’t going to be good is in for a disappointment. Except for Texas who apparently has our number even when they’re kind of shitty like last year.

Am glad that we get to beat up on Kiffin and LSU at home instead of playing OU again. OU is actually very physical.

LSU = finesse U

Some folks seem to still think we’re Big 12/Lincoln Riley OU, we’re a completely different program these days. Very defensive-minded and tough.

I like playing y’all though, great program and fans. Kind of wish we played you every year instead of Ole Miss (though I know you have teams you’d rather play yearly over us).

No. They played them in the regular season and beat Alabama.

Yet they ended ranked #21 in the country. They were a good team. Where did your team finished? (I don't know because I don't know who you are a fan of)

So, again, they literally lost to every decent team they played. Because they lost to Alabama. Oklahoma having beat Alabama in the regular season doesn't make my statement false, because I didn't say they lost every game to a decent team.

If you want to call Michigan decent, that's fine. I disagree, they beat absolutely no one all year and were ranked because CFB is full of garbage teams, so why not Michigan, they're 9-3 after all. They were fodder for anyone decent.

So, you are just going to ignore they beat Alabama? Your whole premise was they did not beat any good teams. Wow. I can't believe you are defending this. But, hey. You be you.

Well, they were ranked. To me that's decent. I never said they were great. But, they were certainly decent.

Ok, so you are a Texas fan. Got it. So, by your own standards (Oklahoma was not very good because they "lost to every decent team they played" and Michigan was not good, I guess Texas only beat two decent teams? Vanderbilt and Texas A&M? But then again, Vanderbilt did not beat any teams that finished ranked, so I guess Texas A&M was the only decent team Texas beat. I am having second thoughts of how good Texas was last year.

CRAP! Texas A&M only beat one team that ended up ranked, so Texas' biggest win was against a team that beat 1 ranked team.

had more ints than tds given up passing last year and were tough to run on besides qb run sometimes. bakers defense will blitz like crazy not exactly finesse. we werent a good run team last year but kiffins teams always run the ball well. I have a very hard time thinking we will be finesse in any way..
just going up tempo doesn't make you finesse. if so,tenner is finesse too
