I love the fake outrage over Verne and Gary. They're just announcers, it really shouldn't bother anyone.

My favorite part was in the 3rd quarter Verne saying how clean of a game it was and how there had only been 1 penalty so far.

There were about 12 penalties up to that point.

How is CBS the most watched network when their employees are the caliber of Verne and Gary?

This game has been on CBS every year since 2001. Why are you surprised?

2000 was the last game broadcast by ABC I believe.

ABC did the SEC championship game in the 90's.

That was great. Hell, AU had about 4-5 DOG's at that point.

It was the 2000 SEC Championship Game between Auburn and Florida. It was broadcast on ABC with Brent Musberger and Gary Danielson providing the commentary.

Ignoring anyone's opinions on their perceived bias, Verne and Gary are just plain horrible at their jobs.

I assume the numerous commercial breaks are so that CBS can change Verne's diapers in peace

Isn't that the truth.

I hate close games on CBS because every time out and possession switch means a whole batch of commercials.

"It looks like Jeremy Johnson needs to tie his shoe... we can fit in four commercials during that stretch!"
