I've already stated that Alabama and Clemson appear to be above everyone else; however somebody has to play these two and test them. I think the aggies should get a shot since the loss you are referring two was our second game of the season as compared to ND last game of the season. Our defense has improved since then so I think it would be a closer game. Their offense would still be extremely difficult to overcome, but who else would you rather put in? Cincinnati? They barely beat Tulsa yesterday. ND already had their shot yesterday.

They already had their shot, and they lost by four touchdowns.
There's no explaining that away and it's the only argument that needs to be made against A&M, not that there aren't plenty more.

Notre Dame and Clemson already had their shot and each has a loss. By your poor logic, It should be Alabama, Cincinnati, Costal Carolina and San Jose State.
