I'm pretty sure if Petrino tells them "I want her working for me tomorrow" then he has enough influence where they will get that done in a hurry and possibly skipping a lot of procedure. You'd be shocked at what kind of power a winning coach has, or for that matter any successful high ranked person in the business world.

I'm not even sure that Petrino is the one who actually 'hired' her

Was she working directly under Petrino?

We don't know for sure at this time. She has been working for the Razorback Foundation until last week. In that position, she did not work directly for BP.

But I think BP may have hired her for this new position in the football staff this past week. And yes, he would be in her direct chain of command, or so I assume.

doubt drugs but wouldn't this cause problems for the Trooper? Wouldn't it be usual for a BAC test to be administered?

In Arkansas, no testing is required unless there is a fatality.

It is curious. Why no test unless there were no signs of alcohol use or the trooper is covering up for him.

But if the trooper is covering up for BP, cover up having the passenger too.

I just don't see him getting fired. They will take some of his money and put him on probation.

frick arky fans. They were told what kind of douche he was and defended his every action. Jut the way he was hired was shitty. Did they not think he would do something shitty in the future?
It's like hooking up with a girl whom is in a relationship with someone else and then you are shocked that she cheated on you while y'all were dating.

I think they will be able to show cause...the hire, disreputable conduct as an university employee, abuse of position etc. etc. Plus the news outlets are clamoring for blood...
