1. Auburn
6. Kentucky
24. Arkansas
26. Alabama
27. Tennessee

Interesting that Kentucky moved up and LSU fell all the way out.

Yup.

KY has a damn talented team. Would not feel super confident in a rematch, but hopefully we get one in the SEC tourney.

Kind of insane to leave LSU out when they have 4 losses and all four teams are ranked. Plus wins over Kentucky and Tennessee.

Or LSU not in, either way is worthy of sharing.

Can’t wait for a rematch with AU. Now that the two teams have played once and kinda know each other, a rematch will be super fun to watch.

LOL at LSU, which is top 15 in every objective ranking that matter, not being listed.

I agree, with Xavier Pinson LSU would have beaten Alabama and Tennessee.

LSU is a top-15 team IMO

Tennessee should be top 20. We have a win over #3 Arizona along with some other good wins. If we beat UF and Texas Saturday - our stock will only get better.

LSU almost beat Alabama without Pinson, Days and with a 25-10 foul difference. Already showed that they are better than Tennessee when healthy.

The most maddening thing isn't that Alabama is losing some games, it's a combination of:

1. Losing to teams like Missouri after beating other teams like Gonzaga, Houston, Tennessee and LSU

2. Always losing these close games, so it feels like we have a shot at them...
Lost by 4 to Iona
Lost by 1 to Davison
Lost by 6 to Mizzou
Lost by 4 to Auburn
Lost by 2 to Mississippi State

Of course after Georgia, we've got:
Baylor
Auburn
Kentucky

All of this is why every season of Alabama basketball is more "cautious optimism" or "justifiable skepticism". They fooled me with those back-to-back wins over Gonzaga and Houston. Not again man, not again.

Have y'all considered not fouling so much?

I don't know if this is exactly what happened, but it appears that Oats told his players to back off, as we were generating a lot of fouls ourselves, and basically let the other team commit the fouls.
Missouri ended up +10 in fouls vs Alabama as well. One player fouled out and 4 others were sitting at 4.

It just looks like Alabama is letting other teams play aggressive, getting some steals and such but also getting way more fouls.

We need to consider not shooting so much.
