I thought the Orange Bowl had the SEC at-large bid this year?

Orange will get the ACC champ or replacement (Louisville). After that it's just based on rankings. B1G, PAC and SEC champs/replacements are free game since the Sugar/Rose are the playoff games this year.

I'll take Mizzou vs Penn State. No interest in playing a future SEC opponent.

That'd be a great opponent to cap the year with for you guys. Guess you'd have a huge fan show out for that.

We deserve our fate for losing to a mediocre Oklahoma team. 13-1 fiesta bowl birth is a successful season, huge improvement. Although there’s so much NFL talent up and down this roster, it’d be a shame if we don’t get a shot at Georgia or Michigan. Does anyone really want to see FSU or Washington get demolished?

Faurot saw it's fifth straight sellout for the first time since 1980, so the excitement for the program is back to where it was 9 years ago. However, it'll be for naught if the team goes 0-5 in bowl games in that time frame.

It would be awesome for yall to whoop Texas as a welcome to the conference. If they were welcome that is

Tulane in a New Year's Six bowl makes me uneasy, and queasy.

Now if JD -- Heisman candidate was to play, LSU would certainly be in a bowl Jan. 1. The fact he's not playing in the bowl is why LSU is being gulaged to the Reliaquest or Duke's Mayo and Tulane is sitting pretty. Tulane plays in a weak conference and isn't that good

FSU will lose to UofL. They struggled against a bad UF.
UGA rolls the Tide.
Iowa is going to upset Michigan. UM's offense is ranked 55th. As bad as Iowa's offense is, their D will shut down UM.

Ole Miss going 10-2 with the #5 ranked schedule and not getting NY6 is a snub.

Especially when directly compared to Penn State who gets in. That sucks.

Tulane is in because the highest ranked G5 (if there is one) is an automatic qualifier.

LSU gets the hair care 2000 bowl or whatever because they're the 5th seeded SEC team.

Although technically outside of the NY6, the bowl committees invite who they want.

That and Missouri is getting more credit for beating Tennessee who inexplicably remains ranked than Ole Miss does for beating LSU (who beat Missouri, fwiw)

It's an optics thing because of the Mizzou moral victory against UGA whereas UGA proved a point against Ole Miss as Kirby does twice a year.

Would rather have a NY6 bowl game, but not gonna lie - this would be a very good game.

LSU insecurity of Tulane.

And the LSU fan base just loves to prove over and over that they are totally ignorant of the game of football.
