I have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. I never said anything about 99% of LSU fans being anything.

Getting a national seed is great and makes the road to Omaha much easier and both teams earned it. Will be interesting to see if LSU can use it towards their 8th National Championship or if Auburn can make their 7th CWS appearance, and maybe get to the Championship series.

You people are ridiculous. You arrogantly proclaimed that there was no way Auburn would be seeded higher than LSU. This thread is full of LSU fans proclaiming LSU would be seeded higher…. RPI is basically meaningless… the SEC standings is all that matters… LSU would always get the benefit of the doubt over Auburn because of its “brand”… Auburn fans don’t understand how all this works… Multiple said Auburn would be traveling on the road… and several said they couldn’t wait to bookmark this thread and revisit it after LSU was seeded higher. I come back to point out I was right and you were wrong, and you cry like whiny babies when it gets shoved back in your face. I was wrong only about one thing: I severely underestimated my Auburn Tigers. For that, I apologize to the entire Rant community. I was correct that LSU had the 6th best resume in the conference, but I was wrong to assume that Auburn would be 5th. That turned out to be Georgia. In the end, RPI did end up being the most reliable metric to project the National Seeds. The Top 7 RPI teams all received national seeds with LSU being the only exception of a team outside the RPI Top 8. The SEC standings were not as important as you people tried to pretend they would be. Turns out beating up on Mizzou didn’t count the same for playing the top teams. Series wins etc turned out to not be much of a factor, with Tennessee getting a regional host despite being 4-6 in SEC series. Basically all the metrics you LSU fans arrogantly proclaimed to know would be the most valued by the committee were not much of a factor, and all the things Auburn fans pointed out to be a big deal ended up being a bigger deal than even we had thought. I’m sorry you people got your feelings hurt and were exposed to not be the experts you were in your mind.

very first post
ETA You have other gems in that thread

Your reading comprehension sucks then.
He said Auburn should not be comparing their resume with LSU's. They should be looking somewhere else...........word for word.

The thread was started by an Auburn fan comparing LSU saying we are 6th on the totem pole. LSU fans then provided counter arguments saying he was wrong (which he was). Pointing out singular posts is dumb because the whole premise of the thread was dumb. As correctly pointed out by many LSU fans lol. It was never a fight between Auburn and LSU for a top 8.

That is what you said dipshit. He said “you have the wrong guy” and then you proceeded to post some other shite that has nothing to do with what you were claiming. You haven’t shown where he said that LSU would be the higher seed. My reading comprehension skills are just fine. You don’t even understand what you are trying to prove.

Can anybody at LSU read? That thread was started by a Texas fan saying where he thought the seeding would go.
ITT and that thread................
Auburn fans pointed out that Auburn's SOS was #1 vs. LSU's 53rd.
Auburn fans pointed out that Auburn's RPI is #3 as opposed to LSU' #10.
LSU fans wanted to point out record.

You are too stupid to grasp the meaning of words. I am done with you. He said word for word that Auburn had no case against LSU. Auburn needed to pick somebody else to compare resumes against.
ETA sorry vid. This post was not directed at you. It was directed at FredbullTN

This thread aged well. Auburn ahead of LSU in national seeding.

I was referring to this thread. Which was started by an Auburn fan comparing LSU and Auburn’s resumes and was quickly pointed out that it didn’t matter as both would be top 8. If there is another thread out there I am behind the 8 ball on that one and don’t remember it.

The OP asked why LSU should get a higher seed than Auburn? I don't see where he said LSU should not be an 8 seed. I think he was just comparing resumes.

The OP asked why LSU should get a higher seed than Auburn?
The OP’s entire premise was that the SEC wouldn’t get 6 top 8s. That was wrong. And if it did come down to it, it would be down to LSU and Auburn for the last top 8 from the SEC, also wrong. He said Texas was the clear #1. Wrong. He said Texas, Vandy, Arkansas, and UGA were the clear 1-4. Also wrong.
Then he spent pages upon pages telling us essentially why Auburn should be a top 8 over LSU in this made up and inevitably wrong hypothetical. LSU fans largely said it didn’t matter because both would and should be top 8 seeds.
He also kept screaming RPI. Well, the final 1-8 RPI looks like this
1 Vandy
2 UGA
3 Auburn
4 Texas
5 Arkansas
6 UNC
7 Oregon St
8 Coastal
9 Clemson
10 LSU
11 Tennessee
12 Ole Miss
13 Alabama
14 FSU
15 UCLA
16 Oregon
The 16 seeds were actually
1 Vandy (1)
2 Texas (4)
3 Arkansas (5)
4 Auburn (3)
5 UNC (6)
6 LSU (10)
7 UGA (2)
8 Oregon St (7)
9 FSU (14)
10 Ole Miss (12)
11 Clemson (9)
12 Oregon (16)
13 Coastal (8)
14 Tennessee (11)
15 UCLA (15)
16 Southern Miss (19)
