What bearing would their stats or NIL earnings possibly have on this discussion?

mmmmm...uuuhhhhh...are you serious? I don't think so.
I did not post their "NIL earnings". I posted their NFL (pro) earnings.
I posted their NFL stats, which are 0 for their entire career in the NFL to make a point ( which obviously went over your head)!

It’s also my duty to counter with then, maybe it’s time to enter the real world or try again for an NFL roster next year, not go backwards
The rest of us when we don’t get a job out of college, have the option to either pay for grad school or try another job. We don’t get to go backwards to undergrad and get paid for it
That’s my whole hang up for anyone, even if Bama does this. You ain’t good enough for NFL? Ok pivot for a real job or try again next year
We looked at 6th and 7th year undergrads as losers at parties, did yall not?

Sir, Lane did not "walk out" on his players.
Yeah don't get it twisted...he walked out on his dog and family, not his players

Ok but my question remains ... what bearing does that have?
The SEC didn't vote to allow only players with low earnings and minimal stats.

I knew people who went to grad school to ultimately make more money.
Also lane is just standing up for his disenfranchised young former and soon to be current players.
Hes a man of the people.

Ok..I'll explain it to you like you're 5.
Why would the entire CFB world freak out over a few players who only played 4 years of CFB that have never played in even a preseason NFL game (with 0 stats) when we have many 6th or 7th year players who are still playing in CFB?

Reported NIL valuations for elite college football players:
• Arch Manning (Texas): ~$5.4M?
• Sam Leavitt (LSU): ~$4.0M
• Bryce Underwood (Michigan): ~$3.1M
• Dante Moore (Oregon): ~$3.0M?
• John Mateer (Oklahoma): ~$2.8M
• Julian Sayin (Ohio State): ~$2.4M

That isn't an answer. It's a question.
For nearly 60 years if you went to the NFL your college career was over. Whether you had 20,000 career yards or 0.
That's what the SEC voted to affirm in the wake of the injunction.

Just because they play for LSU doesn't change they crossed the line to the pros. It's just another step to dragging college football through the mud and it doesn't help your case to have a coach that is already viewed as slime.
It will end with LSU in another conference for them fighting to play 2 players with those stats.
