you mean in the college football playoff era, aka the last 5 years, not the college football bowl era,

didn't UGA play Boise St. (in that neutral site game in Atlanta) a few years back ? How'd that one come out, I can't seem to remember ?

That same year, 2011, Clemson lost to WVU 70-33.
(LSU beat WVU that year 47-21.)

Not for Bama when they play LSU, AU and UGA all in Nov. Nor can you discount the same grind for AU if they win the west this year. They will have faced Bama and UGA (Dawgs twice) in Nov.

Has to be one of the most embarrassing weekends for the conference.
SEC got exposed as just a typical conference. Some elite teams; some mediocre and some terrible teams.

Conference is nothing special despite all the hype. Was at the game in Charlotte. The attitude of UofSC fans is that they’re something special just because a conference affiliation. Reality sucks.

A team other than the four you listed beat the ACC's second best team last weekend!

Go on. Which other conferences have elite teamS? Sure isn't the ACC. So who are the other typical conferences?

I rarely root for other SEC teams, but cheering hard for A&M. These turds are in a loser conference with no fans and nobody cares, so they camp out here to try to find someone to talk to them.

And there are 6 teams in the SEC that are better than the second place team in the ACC.

You play one, *maybe* two good teams a year. Come back a talk to us when every weekend is a slugfest and not cupcake avenue.

Alabama will end season with LSU, Auburn, & more than likely Georgia. All will be physically tough games mentally & physically which like last year means possible injuries going into playoff if we get there.
Meanwhile, pull Clemson's Nov schedule up & much like last year they'll cruise into playoff relatively healthy due to lack of competition.
Bama boy Dabo's built a powerhouse there & it would help if a FSU, Miami or a Virginia Tech were still powers but currently their either average or suck so Clemson's season is in cruise control. It is remanisiant of how good FSU had it in the 90's till the end of the year Florida game.

Big 12, BIG, SEC and ACC are fairly even in strength. You just don’t want to admit it since y’all think any team with an SEC logo on it and having a stadium seating 90k is automatically ELITE. Then the first weekend of the season happens......

Next weekend will help answer the question re conference strength.

I’m pulling for LSU but it’ll be tough in Austin.
Clemson v A&M.

UTk or MSU has more NFL talent than an entire division in the ACC. You have to beat the physically gifted week in and week out in the SEC.

The same UTk who didnt have ANYONE drafted in the NFL last season has NFL talent over an "entire division in the ACC"?

Duke, Boston College,UNC, UVA, Wake fricking Forest, NC State and Syracuse had people drafted this past season.

If I’m not mistaken it’s 30-28 ACC in the CFB era.

Dumbass. There have been a helluva lot more than 58 games between them in the college football era.

Joke is in your hand Tater Boy.

Taters and Free Shoes are in the ACC because they were too chicken to join the SEC in the 90's
