The 2019 game is more on Gus and his play calling. No reason to throw the ball 35 times with a true freshman QB who's struggling, in that hostile of an environment.
Our starting RB that game averaged 10 ypc but only got 13 carries.
And obviously the pass plays that Gus did call didn't do Bo any favors, they were predictable, simplistic, and easy to read.

If I recall correctly the reason for only 13 carries was due to LSU’s front stuffing him time after time. They were forced to throw. He had a 70 yard run that’s it. Regardless, It was a fun game. The most competitive game we had all season besides Clemson. And even that one turned out to be a second half blowout. Auburn kept it interesting the whole way.

Either way, the offensive play calling that game left Bo out to dry, not many QBs could've been successful in his shoes that night.
Bo made up for it the next time we played though :)
So even without that he had 60 yards on 12 carries. That's 5 ypc. Give him 5-7 more carries, 5-7 less throws for Bo and who knows

Auburn LSU is usually a good arse game with the exception of the dumpster fire that was last season. It’s a classic SEC game.
