The more annoying people are the ones that start threads, to let other know how much they don't like college baseball.

It is a slow game. If I had never amounted to shite athletically or never played baseball at a high school level, I might dislike it, too.

I've never heard that either. I think most P&G baseball fans could care less if no one watched

I haven't seen anyone say that either. Any fanbase. We know it's not as popular but we don't care.

I can see why some people (like Mizzou fans) would not like college baseball. The college baseball experience at a place like Mizzou is laughable.

However, go to a Friday night SEC game at a place like South Carolina, LSU, Arkansas, or Miss St and you will have a great time. Most SEC schools also have many players drafted by the MLB out of high school and out of college, so the talent level is respectable.

Plus, it is probably the only "major" college sport (I use major because of the fact that it sends players to the MLB) that is actually affordable to attend.

Mad

I thought it was a thought out, well spoken statement. nothing "mad" about what he said.

this board is for discussion. coming into a thread about baseball and acting like a fig saying you don't care about baseball is pathetic and not conducive to discussion.

This is what cracks me up. People were arguing earlier that short season single A is a better product than college baseball.

Yet, short season single A is made up of newly drafted college players after the CWS ends. So, it's basically college baseball.

Some of them are college players or 2nd year pros.

Those college players are the better players getting drafted out of college. Surely you are smart enough to understand the difference between the ability level of a select few that are drafted in comparison to the overall majority of college players who will never be drafted.

Short season A ball is a shitty level of ball. College ball in beneath that. Stop being so emotionally attached to the argument. Nothing wrong with liking college ball but its a poor quality on the field and that leads to is lack of popularity in much of the country.

I just don't think that having higher skilled players makes something an automatically better product.
