Can they at least make sure Bama has to play their starters in the second half? I’m hoping they play physical and make Bama have to fight.

Game should be close... at least until after the coin toss. After that, the rest is what it is.

Like many teams Bama plays starters mixed with subs throughout the second half. It is rarely the entire second team on the field at once. This is done to get backups and starters used to playing together should injuries occur. I bet your school does the same thing when they are blowing out teams. Tua will at least play one series in the third, providing he is not sitting due to his injury. I know they said he will play, but they would say that too, even if he isn't to force Pruitt to spend time preparing for him.

Tua or Hurts?

Tua gets hurt early or banged up enough to take him out it can be close for a bit. All depends on if saban wants to put the Vols away quick and early. If not never know for a decent 1st half to keep people after halftime.

UT does have some intangibles going for it in this game. 11 is the previous point at which a Bama streak was broken. Tua isnt 100%, defense has been shaky at times. If I was betting the spread id take UT and the points in this game.

No. I'll be surprised if Bama wins by less than 30

Honestly, if Tua's at full strength, nobody in the whole country can keep it close. This is why the football gods have ensured that Tua will be hurt from here on out

I just looked at the spread. 30.5......... and it’s in Tennessee. That’s ridiculous.

Take Tennessee and the points. It’s a lock.

Tua could spend the game sipping mai tais in HI and Bama would still whoop that arse.

Hell, hurts could be with him and it would still be a W. I’m not Bama fan, but that’s the truth
