Irons Puppet is the only one here who knows the list, but he can’t risk his sources.

Sarkisian
Napier
Elliot

All have rejected Auburn. Supposedly Neal Brown has as well, but no confirmation

Best I could tell, Napier is the only one who commented. Everyone else is just a guess.

Sarkisian is the number one and Saban will not allow him to talk until season is over!

D.j. Durkin would kill for the job.

Christobal and Sarkisian both got raises
Napier elected to stay at ULL because he didn't know who his boss would be
Elliot and Brett V declined to interview
Clark elected to stay at UAB
That is all we actually know

There is no real way to tell who was officially offered and who rejected who. To be honest, if Sark or Napier wanted what was reported I would have told them no. Coaches who have not proved themselves at the highest level (and there are few who have) should not get top shelf money.
That said, apparently a lot have been talked to at least informally or thru an agent. I personally would prefer Auburn go the Dabo route and promote Travis Williams. It would require patience, but even if it didn’t work out, he would leave us with a talented roster for the next guy. Yes it’s a risk, but has a high ceiling.

I have not seen one name worth 21 Million, plus the assistant salaries for the fired staff plus the 20+ million probably need for the new coach and his staff...

There's only a few names out there like that and we weren't getting those. But there's some middle ground between a Meyer and Stoops and a 9-36 guy.

What about an 18–40 guy? Twice the wins, barely more losses.
