I will be brutally honest. I'd rather lose to lsu twice than not have a chance at a rematch.

The threads on TI will be awesome...
Which loss hurt more?
Were we out coached in both games?
Should be admit.... ?

But deep down, we know some of you, or maybe most of you know deep down how bad TWO losses to LSU will feel...

No not really. Not at all, in fact. Y'all aren't really that big of a deal to us man...certainly not a "psyche damaging" type of opponent.
Keep telling yourself that, "a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, medicine.. go down... medicine.. go down."
Loss to Miles last year, loss at home to Auburn by blowing a HUGE lead, a loss to Miles this year, then a third loss in a row in fourteen months to Miles would not be a "big deal"?
Deny all you want, but I think it will be a VERY big deal.

Brother, the only BIG DEAL in your entire post was the loss to Auburn last year.
I know you have a WANT for a (potential) 2nd loss in one year to be a big deal to us, but it really really, isn't.
EDIT: For a comparison, Florida lost to a Mike Dubose led Bama team twice in one season...do you think the Gator psyche was damaged by it? It only still means something to the Bama fans.

I have NO DOUBT that your coach is much more motivated by a potential loss than a potential win...
and he projects that onto his players...
fans? I think so.
That's why there's such passion for a rematch... cuz the loss tastes so bad.

Or maybe...just maybe...because its for the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP????
Do you think we'd give a damn about playing y'all again in the Cotton Bowl?
I really have to wonder where yall's heads are...

He said deep down. And yes Bama really wants no part of this dismantling that's coming

Dude - there is not a Bama fan I know that doesn't want this reamtch...
LSU fans are the ones that are nervous...because they know there is only one team capable of beating LSU and that is Bama...
Okie State in the game is tantamount to handing LSU the title...if LSU curb stomps OSU, everyone will say it should have been Bama in that game

If we get in and lose again to LSU, LSU will be forever known as one of the greatest cft evah!
If oso gets in and loses to LSU, some of the luster will be missing because there will be many voters who will claim LSU didnt play the best #2 team.

They might as well combine the shows tonight if Okie State makes it...let the purple and yellow confetti fall, gather on the dais, and just go ahead and give the crystal to LSU right there.

AKA Bama fans. The same fans that would make excuses as to why LSU beat them twice in one season.

only Bama fans would say such...
Everyone else will remember that LSU DID play that other team... on Nov 5... at BDS...
That said... I expect LSU will see and beat Bama again on Jan 9.
and we'll hear "I wonder if they could've beat a "real" offense like OkSt" from non-Bama fans...

A rematch is a no lose proposition for Bama. If they lose again it will either validate the first result in their minds and they will have, in retrospect, expected the loss. Or as I have said all along, they will lose and refuse to respect the result as they did last time. Nothing I have seen from their pimps in the media and the fans on this board leads me to believe they would see any LSU victory over "the greatest defense of all time TM" as legitimate.
Finally, if they win they will crow about how great they are and white-wash the loss, telling us how they were better all along.
So being honest for them will obviously lead to the conclusion that: hell yeah they want a rematch.
