I think you mean *some Bama fans*.

Blah, don't bother with that. I've tried. They're convinced that one Bammer is as good as all Bammers.

Yeah, it's just as embarrassing when we do it as it is when nativetiger and TTsTowel do it.

And that's saying quite a lot.

I'm not sure why people get behind a keyboard and go nuts.

If you look at the game you've got two good teams. Neither team is unbeatable.

Auburn beat UK, Clemson, and Miss St by 3. That isn't impressive. Auburn has played 2 road games against State and UK and won them both by 3.

Alabama got whipped by USCe. That's not a good either. Our offense has struggled in recent weeks as well.

Both teams are pretty good.

If I was in Vegas and you made me bet my paycheck, then I'd probably go with Bama on a straight up win since the game is at BDS. If the game was in Auburn, then I'd go with Auburn.

But it's true! We didn't lose to USCe this year, we just let USCe win to give the rest of the SEC false hope that we had any sort of weakness.

And Nick Saban? Look for him to be dominating the U.S. presidency in 2012.

I dunno. TTsTowel, nativetiger and the Auburn website are pretty confident.

Oh, really?

For the record, the Alabama, Florida, Georga, South Carolina and Arkansas sites don't do this. That's as far as I bothered to check.

ETA: Neither does Vandy.

I'd expect Saban to have a much better scheme against Cam than LSU did, but that might not really mean much because they aren't as talented defensively either. Should be a great game. I think Auburn would undoubtedly be favored if the game was on a neutral field.

Don't call me out for saying our offense looks great. It does. Only sore tail bammers have a problem with it right now.

there is nothing about what i've said that is overconfidence. hell, just today, i've said that i expect to lose to bammer and that if we get left out of the BCS due to one loss, that's fine with me.

Don't see how that's misconstrued as overconfidence.

So I should differentiate between when you're talking shite and when you're being serious about football?

Fair enough. But you can differentiate between talking shite and being serious about football, right?

Bama beats Tenn by 30 points and now they are back on top of the world.

Even though last week they all agreed that they would lose to Auburn if played now.

Yawn.

Come up with something original.

IF we show up with our "A" game...( repeat IF) with the Crowd behind us...it is going to be a long long game for The Barn....Destroy?....not likly...Cam is the real deal...but the rest of Auburn has as many weaknesses at times like we have as well...For what'll be at stake for the Winner...I think Bama Coaching...and Talent level...and Home Field advantage...will win it....
