"It's to early to say but talking to sources it's going to get really bad for Auburn in the end....Cam will go on to the NFL after the season and could careless what happens...Auburn will be the school that will get hammered for this and if some of the things being said comes out to be true and Auburn knew and paid for Newton and it sure seems to be smoke there...you will be talking about killing off a program for the next 10yrs the way the NCAA will hammer them"

If this is all true and Auburn paid $200,000. Who got the better deal?
Auburn $200,000 - Cam Newton
Alabama $200,000- Albert Means

Now who is the dumbass

I think the only way you can make an accurate assessment would be to look at the results of the transactions....

Auburn did not pay $200,000, they paid more. For $200,000 he would be at MSU. Auburn raised the anty and Cam didn't even give MSU a chance to match.

Yeah... its pretty obvious what happened here, even Ray Charles can see it. (yeah, that joke: :beatdeadhorse: )

I have a really hard time believing there's a paper trail though.

I hear it was cash and trade.

The church needed plenty of 2x4s...

I was expecting Herbie to defend Auburn. He is a huge Chizik defender.
