So, just because he thinks the NCAA recommended sitting cam, he is a Bama fan?
Yeah, that makes complete sense

What's all this talk about Cam - I've been away for a while....did he do something wrong?
Posted on 11/29/10 at 7:00 am to Dawgs1980
Until the NCAA completes its investigation the SEC office will not make a decision. The cam newton situation is the least of auburns worries now.

I've said this several times-you can pull out all the rules and by-laws you can find. You can pull out all the accusations and admissions. At this point, you can probably stumble on some new evidence which would indicate Cam may have known about Cecil's shopping him around. It won't matter because Cam is money to TV ratings and the powers to be won't enforce anything until after this season is over. Auburn might win the NC and have their moment in the sun. What happens down the road, the fans won't care because they got to "live the Crystal Experience". I'm willing to bet if you can find 100 honest Auburn fans on this issue, 99 of them would agree. "Yes, something may be wrong but I hope it all comes out AFTER the NC, I want to see it all play out and after that if they want to take away the win, who cares".

Better question - why the hell would the FBI be investigating a college football player at all?
I will trust these news reports into what they are reporting because, they are putting their carriers on the line for making these reports. The other thing is when the FBI gets involved they do not joke about anything it is for real and they mean business no clowning around like some of you people seem to be trying to do. All we are doing is posting about what we read and nothing else. You want to get mad? Get mad at these people that is intrusted with running a clean program in which at Auburn. After all they have been through this same stuff before and to me that is enough to take notice of what is happening at Auburn and Miss St and any other school that is doing these things, notice I said any other school. The FBI is investigating into the "Pay for Play" scheme at all or any other schools that might be involved.
Like what is said at the end of this first post; My trust runs with the Fed's, Where does your's lie? I just hope and pray that LSU is not involved we like all the other schools in this Conference we pay our Head Coaches Millions of $$$money to win National Championships and that is what's behind all this, isn't it?

Now what makes me feel so certain a good amount of this information is accurate? The FBI’s presence in the case. Why would the FBI be involved in the investigation of a college football player? As we learned on Wednesday from TMZ, the FBI was asking about Milton McGregor’s involvement in the Cam Newton case. McGregor is an Auburn booster who ran a greyhound racing track called VictoryLand and he was recently arrested along with 10 others in a political bribery scheme.
McGregor was trying to pay off politicians to vote in favor of pro-gambling legislation. The FBI had wire tapped McGregor and many others regarding this case, and that’s how they came across all the information about Auburn’s pay for play schemes, including Cam Newton. McGregor’s attorney denied his client had any involvement with the Newtons, but we’ll wait until we hear what the FBI has to say.
That’s not all. A post on Tide Sports says McGregor made a payment of $250,000 to Cam Newton’s uncle through a PAC, and then the uncle funneled the money back to Cam’s father. Don’t believe this stuff? The FBI has made arrests and has been investigating this case for nearly a year. I’d say that means they have some pretty darn concrete evidence. My trust runs with the Feds, where does yours?

FBI's Cam Newton Probe Expands to Auburn Booster11/17/2010 12:45 PM PST by TMZ Staff
The FBI investigation into the cash for Cam Newton scandal now involves a guy who gave more than $1 million to Auburn University ... and was recently arrested in a bribery sting.
According to sources connected to the probe ... FBI agents looking into the Newton recruiting controversy are also asking about Milton McGregor -- a dog track owner arrested last month for allegedly bribing Alabama politicians to vote pro gambling.
We're told agents asked someone connected to the Newton case if he was familiar with McGregor or the bribery scandal.
It's unclear what, if any, direct connection McGregor has to Newton. Back in 2008, McGregor did donate a million bucks toward construction of a new arena at Auburn.

I ask again; Where does your trust lie?

What about the fact that the FBI interviewed John Bond, I don't believe he has any connections to Lowder and Co and the Colonial Bank or the Victoryland Casino
This is what people overlook. Does anybody really believe that John Bond would lie to the FBI and potentially face prison time? If you do then I've got some ocean front property in Arizona I'd like to sell you.

And if Cecil Newton got money from AU boosters to get his son to play there, why do they give a damn what John Bond has to say?
once the FBI is finished with their McGregor trial in April, the NCAA could proceed with whatever they turn over to them.

Hey-I'm fine with both of my favorite team's seasons-thats an honest answer. And what I said wasn't mean or hateful-its just the truth. Mosy Auburn fans feel if something is wrong, please let it come out AFTER the NC...could care less what happens later!!!

Worried isnt the right word. I am just interested in this topic. Plus, yes UGA sucked this year, and until they get rid of Mike Bobo they arent going anywhere. This guy is terrible, he actually uses an XBOX controller to call the plays

Yes, they recommended that he be sat out, they didn't, and will most likely pay for it by having more severe consequences. Remember, until the NCAA finishes their investigation, they cannot rule a player ineligible, only the University can do that at the present time, which they have shown their not going to do.
In all seriousness man, you're just reaching now. I'm done with this stupidity. And you're an absolute idiot if you think everybody at Auburn is going to risk their entire careers over one player. If there was any hint of wrongdoing on AU's part, Cam wouldn't be playing. Period.
