I'm sure the op thinks Andrew luck is some super star.
Both have advanced the same amt in playoffs - Luck has been an extra year and has 1 extra win.
Understanding this year making the playoffs was luck for the panthers the colts have the jags, texans, and titans in their division- which are horrible. Prior to this year -atl, no have been good.
Cam will be winning Super Bowls very soon. He needs a decent coordinator and a wr2. Luck will never win anything once somebody else in their division gets a QB.

Any comparison between Brees and Cam is laughable just because of what they have had around them and how their respective organizations have tried to help them. With the exception of spending a first round draft pick on Kelvin Benjamin this year, the Panthers organization has done less than nothing to put elite players around Cam on offense. Their offensive line and wide receivers are generally castoffs from other teams

There have been some moronic things said in this thread by both fan-bases, but this could be the worst.

2 OL were drafted by the Panthers, one is the 2nd round, one in 3rd.
2 OL were signed as undrafted free agents by the Panthers
1 OL was signed as an undrafted free agent from the Chargers organization
1 starting WR was drafted this year in the first round.
1 WR was a free agent signing
TE is pro-bowler this year despite it being Cam's worst season as a pro.

I'll say I really didn't like him in college because of the pay allegations and the way he acted the whole second half of the seccg. And I really didn't think his skill set would transfer to the nfl very well.
But I've been impressed with his development both as a player and as a person. He's impressed me with his maturity in the interviews I've seen.
He won't ever be a brady/manning/luck type passer but the nfl has been having more success with non pocket passer recently so who knows what the Panthers' ceiling is with him.

Their LT Bell is a player they want gone. He was undrafted btw.
Where is Steve Smith btw?
And how do you expect Cam to win playoff games if this is his offensive coordinator?
