it is well documented that all aggie fans turned on Mond (the winningest qb in school history) because he had the audacity to stand up against his school having a statue of Sul Ross, a man nicknamed “negro killer” who did everything he could to keep A&M segregated. It was so bad that alumni showed up with “Aggie Traditions Matter” signs and began calling their football players “blackies”

It’s not hard to understand why they would want a true freshman Haynes King to start over the winningest school in QB history in Mond

Max threw for 27/6 on a bad LSU team with a lame duck coach, first time OC and no OL. I can't see how King is better other than a stronger arm.
